Ambassadors for Print & Graphics is the Virginia Printing Foundation’s comprehensive plan to attract high school students to careers in the graphic communications industry. Ambassadors for Print & Graphics has three primary constituents:
- Schools
- Industry
- Community
The primary goal of Ambassadors for Print & Graphics is to support Virginia’s existing high school graphic communications programs and their instructors. Another goal is to create an Industry Advisory Committee for each school, thus building connections with local printers. Community outreach includes advocacy at state and local levels, presentations at local service clubs, and appearances at community forums and hearings.
PIVA (Printing Industries of Virginia), the local PIA affiliate, is actively involved.
